Circumvented their usually difficult schedule with an early 7-2 record, which includes two sudden death overtime victories over Westfield and Newark East Side on goals by senior scoring leader Sean Young.
The strong defense is again anchored by two time all county goalie Bryan Meredith. With twelve sophomores among the 22 varsity members, the Raiders should only get better in the second half of the season.
